IMPORTANT DATE CHANGEDue to an unforeseen scheduling conflict, we are moving our winter subscription concert from February 21 to March 13, 2012. All other information remains the same (doors open at 6:45, concert begins at 7:30). More importantly, the concert will still take place at the beautiful home we had originally planned to have it at--we’d love to tell you where that is, but we can’t do that just yet (we CAN tell you the hosts are VERY well-known in the Fort Worth arts scene). Hall Ensemble in Dallas!We are happy to announce that Hall Ensemble is bringing its second subscription concert: We will be performing in the beautiful Valley House Gallery in North Dallas. Come listen to Dohnanyi's masterful string Serenade, Devienne's beautiful and lively Quartet for basson and strings, as well as Beethoven's "Archduke" Piano Trio with guest artist Joe Illick. Hall Ensemble Appoints Violinist Pei-Ju Wu
|
We are pleased to welcome an exciting new violinist to Hall Ensemble and to the Fort Worth-Dallas music scene. Pei-Ju Wu collaborated with us throughout 2011, bringing her sparkling virtuosity and enthusiastic spirit to our performances. Trained at Boston and Rice Universities, she is a fierce proponent of chamber music, and is a founding member of Quartus Chamber Players in Houston. Pei-Ju has performed with the Fort Worth and San Antonio symphonies and the Houston Grand Opera, and has toured with "Star Wars in Concert" and Peter Gabriel.
